A loose, comfortable summer dress is a great way to keep cool in the summer, but it doesn’t have to be paired with heels or sandals (neither of which are easy on the feet).

A pair of white sneakers are perfect for those days when you’ll be on your feet for long periods of time. Whether you are chasing your kids around the park or walking around town, you can pair even a fancy summer dress with some comfortable sneakers.

For an even more sporty look, top off your outfit with a workout headband that matches the color of your dress and you’ll achieve the perfect mixture of sporty and casual wear.

Roll up Those Sleeves

Even if you’ve already transitioned your wardrobe to summer, that doesn’t mean all of your long sleeve shirts are off limits. You can stay cool and look classy by rolling up the sleeves on your button down shirts.

Try wearing one underneath a sleeveless dress or with a mini skirt for a slightly formal, yet fun summer look.

Accessorize

Feel like sticking with a plain white t-shirt and shorts? Dress up your casual outfit with some accessories like fashion scarves, hats, shoes or jewelry. These small additions can make even the most simple outfit stand out.
